The Climate Change Bond 2 provided a return linked to the performance of 40 Eurozone companies with capital protection features. This equity based investment strategy focused on 40 Eurozone companies that had been identified as contributing to a low carbon
economy.
The Climate Change Bond was created exclusively for clients of Seaspray Private, and provided a gross return of 30.00% over 2.5 years. This equates to 12.00% per annum.
Climate-Change-Bond-2The iEdge Europe Climate EW 40 Decrement 50 Points GTR Index was designed to provide exposure to 40 Eurozone companies that had been identified as contributing to a low carbon economy. All companies in the Index were given an equal 2.5% weight. The Index was rebalanced every 6 months. The Index incorporated a Climate scoring methodology developed by Carbone 4. Carbone 4 was founded in 2007 and was the first consulting firm specialising in low carbon strategy and adaptation to climate change.
